I have lived in Indiana most of my life, in and around the Indianapolis area. I went to high school at North Central in Indy, college in Massachusetts at Mt. Holyoke, dental school at I. U., and now live in Noblesville with my husband, Mike, a civil engineer (Purdue Grad) with his own firm in Carmel, IN. We have twin grandaughters, Katie and Elaine, who keep up very busy! They are active in horse-back riding and compete regularly in English events. My mother, Luba, also lives with us part-time, and thoroughly enjoys the antics of the twins, as much as they enjoy being with her. She is a retired pediatrician and originally came from a country called Bulgaria. My dad, also from Bulgaria, who was a dentist, too, passed away a few years ago. We still miss him a lot.
I have 2 brothers, Peter and George. Pete lives in Indianapolis with his family, including the “baby” of the family, Vera, who is just 2. She has 2 bigger siblings, a brother and a sister, Noah and Emily. My brother, George, lives in Indianapolis also, and loves to work on his antique cars. He also loves his dogs. In fact, we got our little pooch, Pepperoni, from one of his doggie’s litters.
When I am not working, I like to work in my yard and garden. I plant both flowers and vegetables, especially tomatoes, beans, peppers of all kinds, radishes, and herbs ( I like fresh basil and cilantro). I play the piano when I get the chance, and like showtunes from musicals and classical composers. I am also active in my church.
Between the twins and my mom and my practice, I keep pretty busy. I have a life I love and people to love and who love me. Basically, there’s not a whole lot more to ask of life–I am one lucky gal.
